Classic Mountain Routes

Mountains like Snowdon, Tryfan and Glyder Fach are deservedly welsh classic mountain routes. There are a variety of routes up these mountains to suit your inclination and experience from walking to grade 1 scrambling.

Being able to navigate accurately in the mountains in all weather conditions is a key skill in the safe enjoyment of mountain walking. Knowing where you are and how to get safely down when the weather closes in are vital skills, particularly when you are off the beaten track.
